Vehicle Starting Issues, Warning Lights and Engine Stalling

If after attempting to start your vehicle you are experiencing engine stall, warning lights/notifications or none starting then please refer to the below.

Warning Lights Displayed While Driving

This issue can be cause by:

- Not waiting for the double flash after entering your code - Common on Ford Transit, Golf MK7 / 7.5 & Audi RS3.
- Not leaving the ignition off for 5 seconds after a failed start - Common on Jaguar / Land / Range Rover 2013 to 2021.
- Pressing the brake while entering the code - Common on Jaguar / Land / Range Rover 2013 to 2021.
- Pressing the brake 5 seconds BEFORE entering the code - Common on Jaguar / Land / Range Rover 2013 to 2021.

Engine Stalling / Immobilising when Start / Stop Activates

- Wait for the double flash before touching the brake and starting your engine or selecting gear.
  - MK7 / 7.5 Golf
  - Audi RS3
- Do not try and start your car within 30 seconds of turning the ignition off if if your Ghost has a 30 second rearm time.
  - Many pre 2021 VAG Cars

Anti-hijack - Vehicle Stalling after 300 meters?

Does your vehicle have this feature? It WILL have been explained to you at the time of installation. You could well be activating the procedure when exiting the vehicle to put goods in the boot, close the garage door etc.

Indication Lamp Flashing While Driving

Indication Lamp flashing 4 time while driving? This indicates a power issue and requires an engineer visit, please contact us.
