CAN BUS Motorhome Alarm Fitted in Leeds or Wakefield

Another installation of a CAN BUS Thatcham approved alarm took place today in Wakefield.

The alarm of choice for this 2013 Fiat Ducato based Motorhome was the Cobra CAN BUS alarm. The Cobra CAN BUS alarm combined with the motorhomes factory fit immobiliser upgrades this vehicles security to full Thatcham Category one criteria, known as a 2-1 upgrade.

The Cobra alarm offers the user the ability to add additional remote controls to alarm system that will arm and disarm the system whilst also locking and unlocking the doors. This offers a great saving from what the main dealer would charge.

Our installation team fitted the CAN BUS alarm system at the customers home address in Wakefield, it was either here of at her partners work address in Leeds. Either way we offer mobile fitting of CAN BUS car alarms to both these areas, all from our head office here in Leeds. 

The Cobra CAN BUS alarm offers, door, bonnet and boot protection along with ultrasonics mounted in the passenger cabin and a dashboard mounted LED for visual warning to any would be theif. There is also the option to delete the ultrasonic interior sensors for when you are inside the vehicle but would still like to arm the system.

We also installed an additional high power siren to the underside of this vehicle in Wakefield. This was interfaced to the Cobra CAN BUS Motorhome alarm to allow it to power only during an alarm cycle. 

The sirens can be found here. These are very loud…who knows the customer may be able to hear their Can Bus Motorhome / car alarm from work in Leeds whilst it's on the drive in Wakefield.

To provide extra security we also installed a MRS switch to the door of the garage and the gas bottle hold. This presents a really well protected vehicle, that used some very simple parts for great protection from a simple CAN BUS alarm.
