This particular Autowatch Ghost installation was carried out on a 2020 Mercedes at the supplying dealer, Stratstone Mercedes in Wakefield.

The customer contacted us at the point of ordering the Mercedes to run through the compatibility of the system, if it worked, how well and lead times for installation. We advised that most modern Mercedes vehicles are compatible with the Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser and his certainly was, a Mercedes A35 AMG on this occasion and the best thing to do was give us a call once he had a confirmed delivery date for the vehicle, from this point we liaised with the dealership to ensure the device was installed prior to his collection.

We managed to install the Autowatch Ghost 2 days before the scheduled pick up date but to prevent having to give the pin code to all the staff members we simply left the Mercedes with the Autowatch Ghost in service mode. This allows the vehicle to be started, driven and used as normal (within reason) without the need to disclose the code. We programmed a nice easy pin sequence using the electric window switches on the Mercedes and made a quick demonstration video which we sent to the customer showing them what to do when picking their brand new Mercedes up.
