Range Rover Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser Leeds

Range Rover fitted with Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser, installations are available throughout Leeds, Yorkshire and beyond.

As the largest installer of the Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser in the north of England and in turn, Leeds then who better to trust with the fitting of your device?

We have over 1,020 installations of the device under our belts, many of these have been fitted to Range Rover models of all ages from our base here in Leeds.

Once installation is complete we show you everything you need to know about your Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser, including how to start your Range Rover, change your PIN sequence and the buttons available for use in the PIN, how to enter and exit Service Mode etc. Most Range Rover vehicles use the Cruise Control buttons for entry of the PIN and one or two others. There’s around 6 to 8 buttons available.

Range Rover models compatible with the Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser are as follows:

  • Range Rover Evoque - 2011 to present 
  • Range Rover Sport - 2005 to present
  • Range Rover Vogue - 2005 to present
  • Range Rover Velar - 2017 to Present  

You may notice not many Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser installers will fit the device to JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) vehicles as they actively advertise this.

Back in 2017 JLR launched their new media platform, this was full of errors and bugs which caused the electronics to crash. In turn this meant the Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser was unable to communicate with the vehicle correctly and caused malfunctions. To allow JLR time to do the required updates and stabilise the media Autowatch pulled the support of the Ghost device for installation.

Once all updates were completed Autowatch redeveloped, tested and released the Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser software so installations could continue, to which we were out installing in Leeds with no issues. Obviously there are still vehicles out there which may not have had updates and while you would think two identical vehicles would run the same software, this isn’t always the case. Because of this we invested heavily in our Range Rover diagnostic equipment. This gives us the confidence to work on any Range Rover vehicle and ensure a top quality and reliable installation of the Ghost.

Rather than spend the money investing in the equipment to carry out installations correctly many dealers turn the work away and refuse to fit the Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser. We’re dedicated to the product and our customers which is why we invested and are able to install to your Range Rover
